Rain running down a brick wall

Our go-to product…

Here at Tiffin’s, we are passionate about finding ways to save energy in your homes and, in turn, saving you money. For this, we’ve got just the product, and we’ve been using it for a few years now. It has become our new best friend, and it’s very popular with our clients too. So let me introduce you to “Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream”.

Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream

Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream is a colourless and breathable water-repellent treatment for brick, stone, render and concrete walls. In short, Stormdry stops damp penetrating without changing the appearance of a wall… yes, it really is invisible! It is a single-coat application that is applied to a wall surface by either a brush or roller. Once on the wall, it will saturate deeply before curing to form a breathing water-repellent barrier.

The Benefits

  • Protects your home against penetrating damp (rain penetration)
  • Improves thermal performance of masonry by keeping it dry (energy saving)
  • Improves the performance of cavity wall insulation by protecting it from moisture
  • Retains the original appearance of the wall
  • Saves up to 29% on energy bills for energy loss through brick surfaces.
  • Saves 15% VAT for its application and any associated ancillary costs.
  • Single coat application
  • Retains wall breathability
  • BBA approved for 25 years

How it works

By applying one coat of Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream, it will stop rain penetration on brick, stone and masonry. The science behind it still allows the building fabric to “breathe”, meaning that any residual moisture will not be trapped and will be able to evaporate.

Did you know that a damp wall is a cold wall? Stormdry keeps walls dry, preventing damp issues by allowing building materials to retain their insulating properties in turn protecting existing insulation. This magic right here in every square meter of brick surface will save you up to 29% on your energy bills and you’ll see huge improvements in the “comfy factor”.

One of our clients said…

“I could significantly feel the difference in the coldest areas of my home in no time at all“

If you need that extra little incentive to pick up the phone and get us to apply Stormdry Masonry Protection Cream to your property, we can help with that too. Did you know that this type of work falls into “Improving Energy Efficiency” and therefore only has 5% VAT on it? This is great news for you; not only will it save you money in the long run, but it also costs you less to apply!
